Move. Breathe.
Chant. Question.
Connect.

Steady breath. A little music. Room to be human.

I’m Kelli—a yoga practitioner, student, and evolving teacher rooted on the Oregon Coast. I share movement, mantra, and the practices that keep bringing me back to the present.

You don’t need to be flexible, know Sanskrit, or have your life figured out. Bring your curiosity. We’ll begin there.

01 / The practice

Ashtanga roots. Bhakti heart.

I love the rhythm of Ashtanga: breath and movement, effort and attention, showing up again.

Bhakti opened another door. Through chanting, music, and devotion, practice became something I could carry beyond the mat.

Both shape how I teach—with clear guidance, supportive options, and space to rest, listen, or try again. Some days call for movement. Others call for sitting quietly with whatever’s here.

02 / Devotion

A voice, a mantra, a place to begin.

My shruti box holds a steady note. I add my voice and return to a mantra, listening as much as singing.

Chanting is part of my daily practice and my ongoing exploration of Bhakti. Here, I’ll share what I’m learning about devotional music, the words we sing, and the traditions they come from.

You’re welcome to be curious. You’re welcome to listen.

03 / My journey

Hello, I’m Kelli.

A friend took me to a kirtan in 2015, and I left with questions I’m still following.

Those questions led me through Kundalini yoga, Ashtanga teacher training, and deeper into devotion. Ram Dass’s teachings remain a companion, alongside my study of Indian philosophy and the ordinary work of paying attention.

My world has forests and salt air, layered textiles, music, and a well-used yoga mat. It also has distracted mornings and days when beginning again is the whole practice.

04 / Yoga in Astoria

Practice together.

Classes are currently on hold while the studio undergoes repairs. I’m looking for another welcoming space in the Astoria area.

When a location and schedule are confirmed, you’ll find them here. Until then, get in touch if you’d like class updates—or know a space we might call home for an hour.

05 / Reflections

Beyond the mat.

What does compassion ask of us? How do we practice when life is difficult? What happens when an idea from a text meets an ordinary Tuesday?

Philosophy & Reflections is where I explore those questions through yoga, Indian spiritual texts, Ram Dass, and my own experience. I write as a student, with room to question and keep learning.

06 / Retreats & gatherings

Bring practice into your gathering.

Planning a retreat or community event in the Pacific Northwest? Let’s talk about yoga, breathwork, mantra, or a quiet closing practice shaped around your people.

07 / An invitation

Come as you are.

Ask about a class. Share a space. Tell me what you’re creating.
